King.com and RealNetworks Announce Exclusive Worldwide Skill-Based and Casual Games Partnership
SEATTLE (CASUAL CONNECT) July 19, 2007 King.com, the world's largest skill games site, and digital entertainment services provider RealNetworks®, Inc. (NASDAQ: RNWK) today announced that both companies have entered into an exclusive, multi-year partnership that will integrate gaming content across the companies' gaming portals. Real will also be the exclusive provider of online and downloadable casual games for King.com's worldwide audience.
For the first time, Real's game players will have direct access to King.com's skill games on RealArcade, including popular brands such as American Idol, Deal or No Deal, and 1 vs 100, as well as to more traditional skill-based titles including Bejeweled, Luxor, Solitaire and Sudoku. King players will have access to Real's popular titles such as Super Collapse 3!, Little Shop of Treasures, and Mortimer Becket and the Secrets of Spooky Manner.
"King's partnership with Zylom has been a terrific success over the last 2 years, and we are pleased to extend the partnership to the other RealNetworks sites. We are also excited to offer Real's games to our players," said Toby Rowland, co-founder and co-CEO of King.com. "We look forward to offering King.com's exciting and innovative skill games to existing and new Real users through the partnership."
