Robert Glaser, Founder, Chairman & CEO

Rob Glaser, Founder, Chairman and CEO of RealNetworks, has long been intrigued with the nexus of media, computing, and communications. Since founding Real in 1994, Mr. Glaser has played an integral role in the transformation of the internet into the next great mass medium. In 1995, under Mr. Glaser’s direction, Real introduced the groundbreaking RealAudio, the first commercial audio streaming solution for the internet. This was followed in 1997 with RealVideo. RealNetworks’ RealPlayer is downloaded millions of times each month and is one of the most popular pieces of software ever created.

In July 2012, after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Mr. Glaser returned as CEO, initially in an interim role, to help revitalize RealNetworks and return the company to sustainable growth. In line with this goal, the company has since launched several new products. By creating innovative technology and services that make it easy for people to connect with and enjoy digital media, RealNetworks and Mr. Glaser are at the forefront of the digital media revolution.

Prior to founding RealNetworks, Inc., Mr. Glaser worked for Microsoft for 10 years in a number of executive positions, including Vice President of Multimedia and Consumer Systems. Mr. Glaser currently serves as Trustee and Managing Board Member of the Glaser Progress Foundation, which he established in 1993. Mr. Glaser is a graduate of Yale University, with a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Computer Science.

Mike Ensing, President and COO

Mike Ensing joined RealNetworks in August 2020 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He served as RealNetworks’ interim CFO and a strategic advisor from January through early May 2020. Mr. Ensing is a skilled business leader with over 25 years of experience in executive finance and operations at large-scale organizations. He was Chief Financial Officer of Savers/Value Village from 2014 to 2019. Previously, he served in Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles at Knowledge Universe, from 2012 to 2014, and in several financial leadership positions at Microsoft Corporation, from 2004 to 2012. Earlier in his career, he held various positions at consulting companies, including McKinsey & Co. and Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Ensing earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.

Christine Chambers, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Christine Chambers joined RealNetworks as Chief Financial Officer in March 2021. She most recently served as Vice President, Finance for Rosetta Stone Inc., since June 2018. From May 2016 to June 2018, Ms. Chambers served as RealNetworks’ Vice President, Finance. Previously, she served as an independent finance consultant, beginning 2015, and as Deputy Director Budget and Planning at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, from 2013 to 2015. For eight years, from 2005 to 2013, she held several positions within the finance department of RealNetworks. Ms. Chambers holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Loughborough University in the UK and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA).

Michael Parham, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Michael Parham has served as RealNetworks' General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since August 2012, and previously had served as Associate General Counsel since January 2004. Prior to joining RealNetworks in March 2000, Mr. Parham was an attorney with IBM, serving as Regional Counsel for IBM's Midwest region in Chicago. He began his legal career with the law firm of Chapman and Cutler in Chicago. Michael holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
